Whether it is an allergy or irritant, some things are very unwelcome in our space, or on our bodies! If you are one of the “Sensitive” people, you know exactly what I mean. Sometimes, I will be in a store, and they will be burning candles. Or be sampling perfumes, and I have to instantly turn and leave!
Scented candles, lotions, soaps, ok, everything! Chemical scents are a strong irritant for me. SOY candles are a serious allergy for me. And don’t even get me started on my poor skin, and the ITCHING.
So at Senses, we strive to use not just the simplest possible ingredients, but to reduce irritants as much as we can. We have a created a truly barebones line of moisturizers and face creams and cleansers that are just extremely simple. NO added fragrance. NO surprise chemicals. EXCELLENT quality ingredients. In our Skin Therapy line – Sensitive.
ALL our products are made with the best materials we can find that are simple and chemical free. But. The Sensitive line is just simple oils and stabilizers that are common and are rarely a problem for anyone. We use things like olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, vitamin E, Kosher sea salt , Candelilla wax, beeswax or tallow in combination with our shea butter soap, or honey glycerin soap, or liquid castile soap. Even our preservatives are simple, like Kosher sea salt, alcohol, or simply derived from elderberry or coconut.
So even if you ARE a “Sensitive” person, we have excellent options for you! We offer products with added Tallow in some products for truly problem skin. We always notate if a product is not vegan. Such as Tallow in the ingredients! All our ingredients are listed here.
No added fragrances or essential oils. Just clean pure natural scent.
